We recently have had the opportunity to work on a custom home right here in Taylors, SC! Having the ability to bring our craft right to our home town is amazing and we love leaving our mark behind at each job. This 4000 sq ft custom home has a beautiful design and layout. Nestled into a beautiful community just a short distance away from Travelers Rest and Greenville, this will be a family home for years to come. Currently, framing is underway and showing the progress is always fun!
Craftsmanship in Progress
We love having the opportunity to break out the fun tools like this giant beam saw! These large cedar 12x12 beams were a joy to work on while providing tree like strength and beauty to this customers home in Greenville, SC. The craftsmanship is timeless and the results were spectacular. We would love the opportunity to create your dream project!
Rustic Reclaimed Handrails
We are always flattered when a client sees our custom work and gives us a project that is one-of-a-kind. We love taking ideas to the next level and knocking it out of the park. Here is a custom railing that we did for Keowee Falls in Keowee, SC. The client wanted something that would create a feeling that the guests would find unique and something that looked like it had been there for years. Since we don't have a way to travel back in time, we took a very old locust tree and created the old-timey, cabin looking handrail. The end product looked amazing and we couldn't be happier! If you have a custom idea for a deck, custom handrails, additions or any custom construction job in Greenville or the Upstate, SC– don't hesitate to reach out to us! We would love to meet you.
Cedar Decks and Pergolas
Here at CB&I we have fun building custom decks. Each deck is different and each house yields its own specific design. Welcome to our latest project in Greer, SC. The project allowed us to have fun with the pencil and paper. The client was having troubles with some shaded areas that was not allowing grass to grow fully. We took that problem and turned it into a very spacious entertainment area with a propane fireplace. This allowed the client to have more space to entertain and it flowed beautifully with the custom pergola section and main replaced deck area.
The final product was something we were very proud of– a complete overhaul of their out of date, very small deck, and patchy grass areas.
To finish it off, the homeowner wanted to be able to add vines that "climbed" up the pergola and eventually grew over top of it. The details show nicely and will continue to grow more beautiful over time.
