Parkins Mill Case Study

CB&I teamed up with a homeowner to achieve a major renovation in the Parkins Mill community.  The challenge was to transform their attic into a liveable space with bedrooms and bathrooms, and to broaden the lower floor plan. This plan was included installing support beams in a house that was already built! Part of the project involved cutting into the floor system and placing 5 steel I-beams to support the upper floor. After the beams were in place, CB&I raised the floor in the large "attic" area and then framed the rooms.  Watch the video below to see how the team at CB&I were able to accomplish this feat!
